The LINE Vision 108 is back for another year and it's not slowing down. Voted the "Number One Freeride Ski" by Freeskier Magazine, The Vision 108 is stable at high speeds, light in the air, and easy to control. Created with THC Technology, a featherweight chassis paired with a responsive core allows the Vision to be unlike anything you've ever skied. FEATURES
THC Construction | Newly developed "Triple Hybrid Construction" used in our Vison 108 & 98 lightweight freeride skis. The 3 materials we combined are Aramid (similar to Kevlar), Carbon fiber, and Fiberglass into a proprietary stack laminate, the elements of LINE’s THC vibrate and resonate at different frequencies, this, in turn, cancels each other out creating a hyper damping ski experience without adding weight. |
Directional Flex™ | The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability & high speed control. |
Paulownia / Maple Core | A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple creating the best strength to weight ratio in our line. |
Sidewall construction | Ultra-High Density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. |
Edges and base | 2.1 x 2 mm edges with 1.3 mm sintered bases which reduce the friction against the snow allowing for more speed, and more durability due to the high-density material they are crafted from. |
Early Rise Tip/Tail | The tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack when rolled over on edge. |
Early Taper Tip/Tail | The widest point of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip & tail which reduces hook ups in powder. |
Thin Tip | A thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce. |
